New Construction Field Joint Coatings

Auto-Spray Liquid Epoxy Field Joint Coating Application

Ram River has exclusive rights to the proven Automated Liquid Epoxy Field Joint Coating Equipment from QIC Protective Coatings.

The equipment has successfully coated field joints on over 1,000 kms of new pipeline, compatible with the standard liquid epoxy coating systems including Canusa-CPS, Specialty Polymer Coatings (SPC), and Denso.

Pipeline Coating

Standard Applied Field Joint Coating

Ram River’s experienced, trained, and certified craftsmen are industry leaders in applying the below field applied coating systems:

  • Brush Grade Liquid Epoxy such as Canusa-CPS HBE-95, SPC-2888 and SPC-3888, and Denso 7250
  • 2 Layer Polyethylene Heat Shrink Sleeves such as Canusa-CPS K-60 and TBK-60
    • 3 Layer Polyethylene Heat Shrink Sleeves Systems such as Canusa-CPS GTS-65, GTS-80 and TBK-80
    • Viscoelastic adhesives such as STOPAQ and Canusa-CPS WrapidBond
    • Tapes and Primers
    • Other specialty pipeline coatings

Coating and Insulating Pipe Bends

Ram River crews apply all elements of the insulated pipeline field joint including the (1) corrosion barrier, the (2) polyurethane foam insulations, and the (3) outer jacket used to seal the insulation from water and provide mechanical protection.

Ram River only applies injection moulded polyurethane foam insulations that meets CSA Z245.30 requirements.

There are also a multiple number of outer jacket systems available including Tapes, Heat Shrink Sleeves, Polyethylene Casings, and Polyurea.

Insulated Pipe Bend

Pre-Insulated Field Joint Systems

Ram River crews apply all elements of the insulated pipeline field joint including the (1) corrosion barrier, the (2) polyurethane foam insulation, and the (3) outer jacket used to seal the insulation from water and provide mechanical protection.

Ram River only applies injection molded polyurethane foam insulation that meets CSA Z245.30 requirements.
