Ram River is equipped and approved to apply Canusa – CPS Insul-8 HT Field System. This is a total weld joint system for pipelines that need to operate up to 150 degrees Celsius.

ROCK SHIELD

Polyurethane foam is without a doubt one of the most economical ways to protect your pipe in rocky conditions.  Normally 50mm of foam is applied to protect the pipe during the back fill process.  In severe conditions the thickness of foam may be increased.  This system far exceeds the quality of protection given from wrap on products.

HALF-SHELL

Half shell can be built for pipe 2” – 12” in diameter and works very well for rock protection and pipe insulation. Half shell can be made at our facility in Olds or in the field to meet the needs of the customer.

PIPE SUPPORT - BULK FOAM & PRE-FORMED PILLOWS

Polyurethane foam pillows or spray in place bulk foam provides stability and support to the pipeline structure.  Use as an alternative to sandbagging and eliminate the concern of shifting or breakage of the sandbags.

EROSION BARRIERS

Applied into the existing pipeline ditch, polyurethane erosion barriers provide the support needed to keep ditch lines and hill sides in place.  They are also crucial in diverting water off the ROW.  We believe our system of erosion barrier is far superior to the conventional sandbag method.  Polyurethane provides a complete seal and forces the water to the top of the ditch and off the edge of the ditch line.  It also does not rot or break down when covered with soil.  As a result, you have an erosion barrier that will feasibly outlast the life of your pipeline.
